The purpose of HAA Home and School is to support our teachers and staff members and provide a way for parents and community members to be involved in making our school the best place for children to learn and grow. With active support from our Administration, we get together monthly to collaborate on plans and activities for the year, discuss any questions or concerns parents have, and learn about future plans from the principal's update.  We create activities and programs that support family involvement, such as Back-to-School Night, the Wild About HAA Walk-A-Thon, and other various Family Fun Nights.  

 

We raise funds with the Walk-A-Thon, Box Tops, and other smaller fundraising opportunities.  Recent projects completed through H & S funds include new desks for High School and Middle School, new lockers for Middle School, and updated playground equipment.  We support our service learning programs and our faculty by helping with Art, Music, and classroom activities via Room Parents and other parent volunteers.

One of our main focuses is expressing appreciation for the wonderful teachers and staff we have at HAA-we host breakfasts, luncheons, weekly treats on Friday's, and other scrumptious events to acknowledge the staff and the great job they do in teaching and guiding our children.  Home and School is a great way to meet new friends and support Hinsdale Adventist Academy in taking extraordinary care of our children.
